CASE FILE 001: Elizabeth’s Place of Business

Why: Clients claimed to have seen two male apparitions (one of which looked like a dressed down soldier), there where also claims of being touched by something not seen on a couple of occasions as well as occasional feelings of dread.

R.I.D.G.E. Observations:

On a bitter cold night, we met up with our friend Elizabeth to investigate the paranormal claims at her place of business. We interviewed her and began to place our equipment in various rooms in her office.

As the night went one, we were able to get access to more rooms and changed our camera angles a couple of times to accommodate them. We experienced very cold areas throughout the building to find out that it was due to poor insulation. We felt chills mixed with some odd feelings the whole night but passed them off as it being our nerves as it was our first investigation.

Our E.M.F. detector and KII readings were just one of the few things we were not able to explain. The readings were showing 1.0 gauss and spiking to 12.5 gauss in areas we had already swept for a base line. One of the more unexplainable things we found during the investigation was Jeff Vonk's camera blurring out of focus in night vision mode. This unexplained phenomenon was nothing we had ever seen through the lens of that particular camera. It was as though someone had walked right in front of the camera causing the camera’s focus to completely blur out. After the camera regained its focus, we proceeded to ask out loud ‘if that was you, can you do it again?’ Immediately we got the same anomaly almost as if in response. This was the highlight of the night.

The analysis would change the way we see things as amateur paranormal investigators. We ended up capturing two “Class A” E.V.P.s, (high quality and understandable electronic voice phenomenon recordings) and one "Class B" which blew us out of the water. These were the most fascinating pieces of evidence that were of voices which were not our own but from someone of an unknown origin. I advise you to listen to the recordings and be the judge of what you hear. If you can’t figure it out, email us and we’ll tell you.

We came to the conclusion that there is definitely paranormal activity going on at that location. After the analysis and some hard background research, we were able to tie together how the apparition was dressed according to Elizabeth’s accounts, the proximity of the business to Battle Field Park and one of the E.V.P.s. We also were able to find a connection between the land that the building was on and a family that played an extremely important part of the battle. The Green’s, who owned the land, had their son Billy Green lead the British troops to where the American’s where camped out during the war of 1812. These findings support Elizabeth’s claim of seeing a dressed down soldier on a couple of occasions.

We never thought or assumed our first investigation would throw so much at us and change our lives forever.

This voice was picked up by our audio recorder. You can hear two of us rustling around, we assure you the warning was not any of the investigators.

At 16 seconds you will hear a whisper over us talking. This is incredible as our first investigation reveals 3 Class A EVPs.

Video Evidence

The reason why we made this evidence is mainly because when asked to do it again, it does. This was the only time our night shot camera did this. Sure anyone can say it was only the camera focus, however with the very clear EVPs, we were certain this entity could manipulate almost anything with the level of energy it had.
